Navigation and Transformation through the Shadows
This workshop will guide participants to journey into the shadow realm where much of our creation is born. We will open with a ritual honoring the directions. Then we will go into the state of socio-economic and political factors that impact BIPOC sustainability. We will then discuss a decolonized mental health approach that centers collective healing.
After being grounded in the context of this time, we will facilitate time travel to our personal sacred space for healing, guidance on actions. We will close the container and send participants off with tools for navigating the shadows. Throughout the workshop we pay reverence, ask permission and work with plant and animal medicines.
