Shortcuts to Joy After Sexual Trauma with Selima Harleston Lust
Sexual violence does not have to be a thief of your happiness, your power or your creativity. When you’ve experienced sexual violence, reclaiming your joy can feel like an unreachable goal, which is why many victims simply settle for surviving. However, the negative emotion that results and often gets stuck inside the body, can be deliberately deactivated and transmuted into love that launches you into your most joy-fill life. In this workshop, participants will learn about the hurdles of healing from sexual trauma that push joy away and the spiritual practices and plant medicine that call joy forward faster.
