Prepping for Parenthood: A Journey with your Inner Child

A workshop centered on the ways that inner child work can serve as deep, foundational healing that prepares us for one of the most impactful roles of our lives. Many folks discuss inner child healing as a way for us to go back and show up for those wounded, younger versions of ourselves. However, it is just as important to realize that our inner child is a great teacher and can show *us* the ways in which our unhealed wounds could impact our relationships with ourselves and our future children. Perhaps we have challenges with self-soothing and we lash out?

Perhaps we feel uncomfortable experiencing joy fully and thus quash our own experiences of laughter, play, and pleasure? Perhaps we have been living according to the projections of others and have thus lost sight of our true identity? Perhaps we struggle to feel worthy of and receive love? Inner child wounds like these play a major role in how folks parent. Connecting with our inner child to determine where *our* work is can be an incredible opportunity to break the intergenerational patterns that created these wounds in the 1st place.

Tiffany McKelvy is a student of nature, her ancestors, and her highest self. After graduating from Level III of the Sacred Vibes Spiritual Herbalism Apprenticeship, she founded Love Child Botanix -- a brand that has evolved into a means to pay forward some of the revolutionary healing that she experienced through her work with plant medicine and her teachers. Through Love Child, Tiffany supports folks in doing the work of connecting with their inner child and, in turn, reclaiming the deepest essence of themselves. With a focus on pleasure, play, creativity, and authenticity, Tiffany aims to serve as co-pilot for folks embarking on their journeys towards self discovery, self reclamation and healing.
