2023 Black Herbalist Convergence

***The Black Herbalist Convergence*** is ***Sacred Vibes Healing’s*** much anticipated annual meeting for herbalists who identify as Black. BHC, as it is lovingly known, centers the Black herbalist experience and allows a space for connection, conversation, and expansion. Since its implementation five years ago, it opens the NYC Spiritual Herbalism Conference weekend and sets the tone for what is to come.

This year’s theme

As our community and conference attendees grow, so do our topics of focus. This year’s Sacred Vibes Spiritual Herbalism Conference theme is Thriving Through Transformation. The Black Herbalist Convergence will meet this theme by helping Black herbalists, healers, and kindred spirits reimagine what it means to surrender to transformation through the immersive online event: Returning to the Calabash: Embracing Surrender

Surrender is the foundation of thriving through transformation. It is the cloak that gives us space to adopt a new lens to see the world and all the opportunities available to us when we transform. Returning to the Calabash: Embracing Surrender will offer Indigenous tools and wisdom to surrender within the nourishing container of an ancestral and communal Calabash.
